The White Lotus Season One

In collaboration with Plains of Yonder, I created a series of illustrations featured in the main title sequence of The White Lotus, created by Mike White for HBO. Set within a luxury resort, the artwork draws inspiration from decorative wallpapers, with each print reflecting the distinct themes of the suites: Palms, Hibiscus, Pineapple, and Tradewinds.

At first glance, the illustrations evoke an idyllic paradise, with tropical motifs that feel calm and inviting. But as the eye lingers, subtle tensions begin to surface, and hidden narratives quietly unfold.

The work mirrors the essence of the series itself: a slow unraveling of perfection, where luxury and discomfort coexist, and each layer reveals something slightly more unexpected than the last.
